Description

Hunting is all about connecting: you with your friends, you and your dog, you and the natural world. And now we’ll connect with those who have served our country. As part of the Cabela’s Awesome Upland Road Trip … destination Kansas, Wingshooting USA fans are gathering in Kansas to thank active duty, retired, and disabled military service men and women by sharing our hunting, camaraderie, and fun.

Have fun meeting fellow bird hunters and share a hunt with a veteran or active-service military member. Share your dog’s skills (and your birds) with them and enjoy the beauty and excitement of Kansas bird hunting. Hunt your way home through some of the best pheasant and quail habitat on millions of acres of public and private land.

When: Nov. 10-12, 2016 (Come for all or part - see below)

Where: Ravenwood Lodge, Topeka KS

What: We’ll say “thanks” to those who have served our country by joining them for a hunting experience offering camaraderie, companionship and a connection with the natural world best expressed in the partnership of man and dog.
